A finding is not a verdict
DocSpotCheck assists with reviewing supplied evidence. Differences can arise from errors, partial payments, missing context, tax treatment, credits or legitimate adjustments. A discrepancy alone does not establish dishonesty, fraud, intent or legal liability. Do not present an uncertain finding as a verified accusation.
Verify material results
AI and extraction tools can produce incorrect, incomplete or unsupported results, including incorrect text, quantities, tax bases, document matches and source references. Review the originals and the stated calculation basis. A passing check does not certify the whole document, an entitlement to payment or its authenticity.
What the labels mean
“Issue” identifies a discrepancy within the stated check; it is not a fraud finding. “Conditional” depends on stated assumptions. “Uncertain” needs clarification. “Not assessed” means no reliable conclusion was reached. “Observation” provides context. “Partially checked” means some intended checks could not be completed. Open the label for the recorded reasons.
“Reviewed” means a user marked the document as examined. It does not resolve an issue, change the original report or mean DocSpotCheck has approved the document.
Professional decisions remain yours
The platform does not provide legal, tax, accounting or forensic expert advice and does not create a professional adviser–client relationship. Use qualified advice for consequential decisions. Keep originals and your own evidence trail. Admissibility, privilege, confidentiality and disclosure obligations depend on the circumstances and applicable law.
Examples and currencies
Synthetic demonstrations illustrate the interface and are not findings about a real person or transaction. Some examples use Singapore dollars and Singapore GST. Platform fees are in USD; document amounts retain their stated or identified currency. No automatic exchange-rate or tax-law opinion should be inferred.
