DocSpotCheck
Terms of service
The terms for using DocSpotCheck, a document review platform owned and operated by PWK Holdings Pte. Ltd.
Last updated 24 October 2026
1. Your agreement with PWK
DocSpotCheck is owned and operated by PWK Holdings Pte. Ltd. (“PWK”, “we”, “us”), at Midview City, 22 Sin Ming Lane, #06-76, Singapore 573969. These terms apply to your use of our website, accounts and document review tools. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you use it for an organisation, you must have authority to accept them on its behalf.
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. A separately signed service agreement or order takes priority where it expressly conflicts with these terms.
2. What the service does
DocSpotCheck assists with reviewing documents for arithmetic discrepancies, missing information and inconsistencies, including comparisons across supplied documents where supported. Available checks depend on file type, readability, the documents supplied and the enabled features.
The public demo uses synthetic examples. Paid plans are not yet open and production document analysis is not yet enabled. Access to development or approved testing does not establish a paid subscription, service-level commitment or entitlement to a future feature. Planned features and prices may change before purchase.
3. Human review and professional responsibility
Results are automated review assistance, not legal, accounting, tax, audit, valuation or forensic expert advice. They do not certify authenticity, establish fraud, determine liability, approve payment or guarantee that a document is admissible in evidence. No professional adviser–client relationship is created.
AI and extraction tools can miss, misread or invent information. Check material findings against the originals and obtain appropriate professional advice before acting. A discrepancy alone is not proof of fraud. “Checks passed” covers only the completed checks; “Partially checked” means some checks could not be completed. “Reviewed” records a user acknowledgement, not PWK approval.
4. Your account and uploads
Keep your credentials secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for the instructions, files and personal data you submit, and for having the permissions, lawful basis and professional authority needed to submit them for processing by PWK and its service providers.
Upload only what is necessary. Before submitting client, privileged, confidential or regulated material, check your confidentiality duties and whether this service is suitable. Keep independent originals and backups. DocSpotCheck is not an evidence archive or a chain-of-custody service.
5. Ownership and processing permission
As between you and PWK, you retain your rights in uploaded documents. PWK does not take ownership of your evidence. You authorise us and our service providers to host, copy, extract, analyse and display it as needed to provide the requested service, maintain security and comply with law, as described in our Privacy notice.
You may use reports generated for you, subject to rights in the underlying material. AI output may not be unique or eligible for intellectual-property protection. PWK retains its rights in the DocSpotCheck name, software, design and other platform materials.
6. Acceptable use
Do not submit unlawful content, malware or material you are not authorised to process. Do not bypass access controls, attempt to access another account, disrupt the service, misrepresent an automated result as a certified expert opinion, or use findings to make unsupported allegations. Security testing requires prior written authorisation.
7. Prices, payments and cancellation
Platform prices are in United States dollars (USD): the proposed Pro price is US$199 per month and Case Review starts at US$8,800 per case. These are platform fees, not currency conversions of uploaded documents. Applicable taxes, the final total, scope and any renewal terms must be shown before a purchase is accepted. Your bank may apply exchange or transaction charges.
No payment or recurring subscription is activated by viewing pricing or creating an account. A paid subscription or case engagement begins only after an available checkout or written order is accepted. Pro includes 50 standard pages in each paid billing cycle, with no rollover or automatic overage charges. New checks stop when no monthly allowance or unexpired pack pages remain. Explicit rechecks count; reopening saved results and failed checks do not. A completed saved report counts even when it records issues or partial checking coverage. Billing frequency, cancellation instructions and any refund policy will be supplied before purchase. Statutory rights and remedies are not excluded. For an incorrect charge or service concern, contact us.
PWK Holdings Pte. Ltd. is not GST-registered and does not charge Singapore GST on platform fees. Other applicable taxes and the final total will be shown before purchase.
Case Review starts at US$8,800 as a one-time payment per agreed case, with no automatic renewal. The proposed scope is up to 500 documents, 1,000 processed pages and 1 GB of source data, subject to complexity assessment. Its case allowance is separate from Pro monthly pages and extra-page packs. A Pro subscription is not required. Final scope, deliverables, timing, access period, rechecks, cancellation and refund terms must be agreed in writing before payment. Additional work requires a separate agreed quote.
Each optional pack adds 50 pages for US$199 as a one-time purchase. Pages expire 90 days after confirmed payment. An active paid Pro subscription is required to buy and use pack pages; expiry continues while Pro is inactive. Monthly pages are used first, then the soonest-expiring pack. Packs survive monthly renewal until their own expiry. Each purchase is explicit: no automatic recharge or change to your renewal date. Refunded or disputed pack payments can make remaining pages unavailable; contact us about billing concerns. Real purchases are not yet enabled; sandbox checkout is for testing only.
8. Availability, suspension and ending use
We may update the service, apply documented usage limits or temporarily interrupt access for maintenance and security. We may suspend misuse, unlawful activity or a serious breach of these terms. Where lawful and reasonably practicable, we will explain the reason and allow an opportunity to address it.
You can stop using the service at any time. Contact us to request account closure. Export reports and keep originals before closing an account. File deletion and retained records are described in our Privacy notice. Paid service commitments, if any, are governed by the accepted order.
9. Service limitations and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every purpose. PWK does not guarantee complete detection of discrepancies or recovery of losses. Each party remains responsible for losses for which it is legally liable; reasonable steps should be taken to prevent and mitigate loss.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any additional commercial liability allocation must be set out in an accepted order and remains subject to applicable law.
10. Changes, governing law and contact
These terms are governed by Singapore law. Disputes are subject to the courts of Singapore, without overriding any mandatory rights or forum protections that apply to you. Contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. We will post updated terms with a revision date and give notice of material changes through the service or email where appropriate. Changes do not retrospectively alter an accepted paid order unless agreed or required by law.
